In 1985, Frank Martinez hung up the phone at the dealership where he'd worked for fifteen years and made a decision. He'd watched too many customers get overcharged for unnecessary repairs, and he knew there had to be a better way.
He opened Honest Wrench in a two-bay garage on the corner of Main and Oak with a simple promise: tell the truth about what's wrong, fix only what needs fixing, and charge a fair price. Word spread fast in a town where everyone knows everyone.
Today, Frank's son Mike runs the shop, and Frank's grandson is learning the trade. The two-bay garage is now an eight-bay facility with state-of-the-art equipment, but the promise hasn't changed. We still treat every customer like a neighbor because, in most cases, they are.
