Diagnostic Laboratory: Complete blood chemistry panels, complete blood counts (CBC), thyroid testing, urinalysis, fecal testing, and cytology. Most results available same-day.
Digital Radiography (X-Rays): High-quality digital X-rays to diagnose fractures, arthritis, foreign bodies, heart and lung conditions. Images available immediately for quick diagnosis.
Ultrasound: Non-invasive imaging of internal organs including heart, kidneys, liver, and reproductive organs. Dr. Martinez performs all ultrasounds in-house.
EKG & Blood Pressure: Cardiac monitoring for heart disease diagnosis and pre-anesthetic screening. Blood pressure monitoring for hypertension and kidney disease.
Pharmacy: Full-service pharmacy stocked with medications, supplements, and preventive products. Competitive pricing and the convenience of getting medications at your appointment.

Surgical Services

Our state-of-the-art surgical suite is equipped with advanced monitoring equipment and modern anesthesia systems. Every patient receives individualized anesthetic protocols and continuous monitoring by trained technicians.

Spay & Neuter: Routine sterilization surgeries with pain management protocols. We recommend spaying/neutering at 6 months for most pets. Reduced rates available for rescue adoptions.
Soft Tissue Surgery: Tumor removals, bladder stone surgery, GI surgery, hernia repair, C-sections, and more. Dr. Chen specializes in complex soft tissue procedures.
Orthopedic Surgery: Fracture repair, cruciate ligament surgery, luxating patella correction, and amputation when necessary. We use modern surgical techniques for faster recovery.

Dental disease affects 80% of pets over age 3 and can lead to serious health problems including heart, kidney, and liver disease. Our comprehensive dental care keeps your pet's teeth and gums healthy.

Dental Examinations: Oral health assessment at every wellness visit. We check for tartar, gingivitis, broken teeth, and oral tumors.
Professional Cleaning: Complete cleaning under anesthesia with scaling, polishing, and digital dental X-rays to check tooth roots and bone. Pre-anesthetic bloodwork required.
Dental Extractions: Removal of diseased, fractured, or painful teeth with pain management before, during, and after surgery. Nerve blocks for patient comfort.
Periodontal Therapy: Treatment of gum disease with deep cleaning, antibiotic gel, and at-home care instructions. Severe cases may require referral to dental specialist.
Home Dental Care: Instruction on brushing techniques, dental diets, water additives, and dental chews. We'll help you establish a home care routine.

24/7 Emergency Care

Pet emergencies don't wait for business hours. Our emergency service is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Call ahead if possible, but walk-ins are always accepted.

Immediate Triage: Emergency patients are assessed immediately upon arrival. Life-threatening cases go straight to treatment. Less urgent cases may have a short wait.
Critical Care: Treatment of trauma, poisoning, difficulty breathing, seizures, bloat, urinary blockages, and other life-threatening emergencies.
Hospitalization: Intensive care with IV fluids, oxygen therapy, continuous monitoring, and around-the-clock nursing care for critical patients.
Emergency Surgery: On-call surgeon available for emergency procedures including GI foreign body removal, C-sections, and trauma surgery.
Overnight Care: Hospitalized patients are monitored throughout the night by veterinary technicians. Veterinarian on-call for any concerns.

Medical boarding for pets requiring medication or post-surgical monitoring. Climate-controlled kennels with individual runs. Dogs get playtime and walks. Cats have separate quiet area. Requires current vaccinations.

Medical grooming for pets with skin conditions or those who need sedation for grooming. Nail trims, sanitary trims, ear cleaning, and medicated baths. Full grooming salon services available.

Microchipping

Permanent identification that can't be lost or removed. We use HomeAgain microchips with lifetime registration. Microchipping can be done during office visit or at time of surgery. $45 including registration.

Health Certificates

Travel health certificates for domestic and international travel. USDA accredited. Exam and certificate preparation. Schedule at least 2 weeks before travel. Requirements vary by destination.

Full selection of therapeutic diets for kidney disease, urinary health, GI issues, allergies, weight management, and more. Brands include Hill's, Royal Canin, and Purina Pro Plan Veterinary Diets.
