Dedicated to capturing authentic moments and creating timeless portraits that tell your unique story.
I still remember the first time I looked through a viewfinder—a borrowed film camera at age twelve, capturing my grandmother in her garden. That moment changed everything.
What started as a childhood fascination became a lifelong passion. After studying fine art photography at the Rhode Island School of Design and apprenticing with some of the industry's most respected portrait photographers, I opened Aperture Portrait Studio in 2009 with a simple mission: to create portraits that capture not just how people look, but who they truly are.
Fifteen years later, that mission remains unchanged. Every session is an opportunity to connect, to find the light that reveals something genuine, and to create images that families will treasure for generations.
