New to martial arts? Here's what your first class will look like.
Arrive 15 minutes early. We'll give you a tour, have you sign a waiver, and get you set up with any loaner gear you need.
Classes start with a structured warm-up. Expect movement drills, stretching, and exercises to prepare your body for training.
The coach demonstrates techniques. You'll drill them with a partner at your own pace. Coaches help with corrections.
Put it together with positional sparring or live drilling. Beginners can sit out live rounds until they're comfortable.
Classes end with stretching and sometimes conditioning. Ask questions, meet training partners, and cool down.
That's it! You survived. Soreness is normal. Come back in a day or two and do it again. Consistency is everything.
