From humble beginnings to your favorite neighborhood gathering place. Here's how Brew Haven became a community cornerstone.
Brew Haven was founded in 2015 by Sarah Chen, a former software engineer who left the corporate world to pursue her passion for specialty coffee. After spending years traveling and studying coffee culture in Portland, Seattle, and Melbourne, Sarah returned home with a dream: create a neighborhood coffee shop where quality and community come first.
What started as a tiny 600-square-foot corner shop with four tables has grown into the heartbeat of our neighborhood. Today, we serve hundreds of customers daily, but we've never lost sight of what makes us special—treating every person who walks through our door like family.
These principles guide every decision we make, from sourcing beans to greeting customers.
We work directly with small coffee farms that practice sustainable agriculture and pay their workers fairly. Every bag of beans we buy makes a positive impact.
We're not just selling coffee—we're building relationships. From sponsoring little league teams to hosting open mic nights, we invest in our neighborhood.
Every drink is crafted to perfection. We use premium beans, fresh dairy from local farms, and never cut corners. Your satisfaction is our success.
Compostable cups, recyclable packaging, and energy-efficient equipment. We're constantly working to reduce our environmental footprint.
Our team regularly attends coffee workshops and training. We're always exploring new brewing methods and refining our craft.
Everyone is welcome at Brew Haven. We're proud to be a safe, welcoming space for people of all backgrounds, identities, and beliefs.
We believe great coffee starts at the source. That's why we partner directly with small coffee farms in Ethiopia, Colombia, Guatemala, and Costa Rica. These relationships allow us to ensure fair compensation for farmers while securing the highest quality beans.
Our beans are roasted in small batches by a local roastery just 15 miles away. This ensures maximum freshness—most of our coffee is served within two weeks of roasting. We carefully select different origins to offer you variety: bright and fruity African beans, rich and chocolatey South American beans, and balanced Central American beans.
The friendly faces who make your morning brighter and your coffee perfect.

We believe in supporting the neighborhood that supports us.
We partner with nearby bakeries for sandwich bread, source dairy from a family farm 30 miles away, and buy honey from a local beekeeper. Supporting local businesses strengthens our entire community.
Each year, we donate 5% of profits to local schools and sponsor supplies for teachers. Education builds the future, and we're proud to play a small part.
From hosting open mic nights to coffee cupping workshops, we create opportunities for neighbors to connect. Our space is available for small community meetings and study groups.
We compost coffee grounds for local gardens, offer discounts for reusable cups, and participate in neighborhood cleanup days. Small actions add up to big impact.
