Built on a Simple Idea
In 2009, David and Karen Reeves noticed something frustrating about self-storage in their area. Facilities were either overpriced, poorly maintained, or both. Most felt like an afterthought. Dingy hallways, broken lights, and security systems from the 1990s.
They decided to build something different. VaultSpace opened with 120 units on a two-acre lot off Industrial Boulevard. The concept was straightforward: clean facilities, real security, fair prices, and staff that actually answers the phone.
Fifteen years later, we've expanded to over 500 units across three buildings. The original principles haven't changed. We still sweep the hallways twice a week. We still answer every call. And we still believe that how we maintain the facility says everything about how we treat our renters.
