Our founders came from law enforcement and military backgrounds. We've seen firsthand what happens when properties aren't protected — and what good security actually looks like in practice.
Sentinel Security Systems was founded in 2007 by Marcus Webb, a 12-year Phoenix PD veteran who spent years responding to burglaries and property crimes across the valley. He kept seeing the same thing: systems that didn't work right, monitoring companies that were slow to respond, and homeowners who had no idea their setup had gaps.
He left the force with one goal — to build a security company that operated with the same discipline and standards as law enforcement. No shortcuts. No overselling. Just systems that work when you need them to.
Today, Sentinel has grown to a team of 22 certified technicians and analysts serving over 4,200 clients across the Phoenix metro area. We're still independently owned, still based in Phoenix, and still held to the same standards Marcus set on day one.
Independently owned and operated — no franchise, no corporate playbook
Founded by former law enforcement with real security expertise
Serving Phoenix, Scottsdale, Tempe, Mesa, Chandler, and Gilbert since 2007
We tell you what you actually need — not the most expensive system that'll earn us the biggest commission. If your existing equipment is salvageable, we'll tell you. If you need to start fresh, we'll explain exactly why.
A security system is only as good as its installation. Our technicians take the time to route wiring properly, test every sensor, and walk you through the system before they leave the job site.
When an alarm triggers, our monitoring center responds in under 30 seconds — not 3 minutes. We know the difference can matter. Our UL-listed facility has redundant power, redundant communications, and 24/7 staffing.
We don't sign you up and disappear. Our technicians are available for service calls, system upgrades, and questions as your property or business needs change over time.
Free assessments are genuinely free. We show you what we found, explain your options, and let you decide. Our sales process is designed to inform, not to overwhelm.
