A print studio built by a designer, run by print obsessives, and trusted by hundreds of local businesses.
InkWorks Print Studio started in 2016 when our founder, Nina Alvarez, got tired of sending designs to print shops and getting back something that didn't match what was on her screen. Colors were off, paper was wrong, and the attention to detail was nonexistent.
So she opened her own shop. The idea was simple: a print studio run by someone who actually understands design. Someone who knows the difference between Pantone 186 C and "close enough." Someone who checks registration marks and inspects every cut.
What started as a one-person operation in a garage has grown into a full-service studio with a team of five, a suite of professional equipment, and a client list that includes restaurants, law firms, startups, and nonprofits across the region.
We still operate with the same obsession Nina started with: every job gets checked, every color gets matched, and nothing leaves the studio unless it's right.
Small team, big talent. Every member of InkWorks brings hands-on skill and genuine passion for the craft.
Owner & Creative Director
Former agency designer who founded InkWorks to bring design-quality standards to commercial printing. Oversees every project and personally approves color proofs. Believes there's no such thing as "good enough" when it comes to print.
Production Manager
15 years in commercial printing before joining InkWorks. Derek runs the floor, manages equipment, and coordinates production schedules. He's the reason your job ships on time, every time. Master of the offset press.
Graphic Designer
BFA in graphic design with a focus on typography and branding. Sam handles design services, file preparation, and prepress work. If your files aren't print-ready, Sam will get them there without breaking your layout.
Professional-grade equipment maintained and calibrated daily. The right tools make the difference between good and great.
InkWorks operates out of a 3,200 square foot open-concept studio where the design workstations sit right next to the presses. It's intentional. When our designers can walk ten feet to check how a color looks on paper, the results are better.
Clients are always welcome to visit. We love giving tours and showing people how their projects move from file to finished product. There's something satisfying about watching a press run -- the precision, the rhythm, the smell of fresh ink on quality stock.
Our front area doubles as a mini showroom with paper samples, finish options, and completed projects you can touch and hold. It's the best way to choose the right materials for your next job.
Good print should not come at the planet's expense. We've built sustainability into every part of our process.
