Learning alongside other musicians builds skills you can't get from private lessons alone. Our group classes focus on ensemble playing, ear training, improvisation, and collaborative musicianship. Small class sizes (4-8 students) keep things personal.
Current offerings include rock band workshop, jazz combo, string ensemble, beginner ukulele circle, and adult jam sessions.
Understanding the language of music makes you a better player, regardless of your instrument. Our theory classes cover notation, scales, chords, intervals, rhythm, and composition. We use real songs and practical exercises rather than dry textbook drills.
Available as a standalone course or as an add-on to private lessons. Recommended for students who want to write their own music, improvise, or prepare for college auditions.
Playing for an audience is a skill unto itself. Our recital prep program helps students choose repertoire, manage stage fright, develop stage presence, and perform with confidence. Every student gets the chance to perform in our quarterly recitals in the academy's 60-seat hall.
For advanced students, we also offer competition preparation, audition coaching, and recording session experience in our on-site studio.
Week-long day camps for ages 6-17 running June through August. Campers spend each day learning an instrument, playing in groups, writing songs, and building toward a Friday afternoon performance for family and friends.
Camp themes rotate weekly: Rock Band Camp, Songwriting Intensive, Orchestra Experience, Percussion Playground, and Musical Theater Workshop. Lunch and snacks provided. Early bird registration opens in March.
