From Gym Bag to Juice Bar
Pressed & Pure started in 2019 when founder Ava Chen got tired of telling her personal training clients to eat better without giving them a real option. She'd been making cold-pressed juices for herself and her clients out of her apartment kitchen for months. The feedback was always the same: "Where can I buy these?"
So she found a 400-square-foot space on Greenleaf Avenue, bought a commercial hydraulic press, and opened the doors. The first week she sold out every day by noon.
Today, Pressed & Pure serves over 500 customers a week from our expanded location. We've grown, but the mission hasn't changed: make clean nutrition accessible, affordable, and actually delicious. Every juice is still cold-pressed in-house. Every ingredient is still certified organic. And Ava still tastes every new recipe herself before it hits the menu.
