TrueView inspectors don't just know what to look for — they know how buildings are put together. That background makes the difference when something's off.
Marcus Webb spent eleven years in residential construction — framing, systems rough-in, finish work. He understood houses from the inside out. When he transitioned to inspection work in 2012, he brought something most inspectors don't have: firsthand knowledge of how construction shortcuts happen, what they look like fifteen years later, and what it actually costs to fix them.
TrueView was founded on a straightforward premise: buyers deserve an inspector who tells the full truth, explains it clearly, and has no financial stake in whether the deal closes or falls apart. No referral relationships with repair contractors. No incentive to minimize what's found.
Today we serve buyers, sellers, real estate agents, and property investors across the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. Our team of three licensed inspectors has completed over 1,400 inspections since opening. Every one of them includes a full walkthrough with the client and a same-day digital report.

We don't send anonymous contractors. When you schedule with TrueView, you know exactly which inspector will be on-site and what their background is.
Marcus brings 12 years of home inspection experience plus 11 years in residential construction before that. He specializes in complex structural and electrical issues and is the inspector most real estate attorneys in DFW call when they need a second opinion. He holds InterNACHI's Certified Professional Inspector designation and is a TREC-licensed inspector in the state of Texas.
Diane joined TrueView in 2018 after eight years as a licensed plumber in the DFW area. Her depth of knowledge in plumbing systems — from supply lines to sewer laterals — is unmatched. She's also certified in mold screening and sewer scope inspections, making her the go-to inspector for older homes in the inner suburbs.
Kevin's background is in HVAC and mechanical systems, which makes him exceptional at catching energy efficiency problems and mechanical defects that less experienced inspectors walk past. He handles the bulk of TrueView's new construction phase inspections and is deeply familiar with current building codes across Collin, Denton, and Tarrant counties.
Three principles guide every inspection we do, regardless of the property type or size.
We schedule one to two inspections per inspector per day. Not three or four. That means the inspector you hired is on your property as long as it takes — not rushing to get to the next job. A 2,200 square foot home typically takes 3.5 to 4 hours. We don't cut that short.
We strongly encourage clients to attend their inspection and walk the property with the inspector. You'll learn things about your home that no report alone can communicate — how to maintain systems, what to watch over time, and what actually requires immediate attention versus what can wait.
We do not accept referrals from contractors, real estate agents, or any third party with a financial interest in the outcome. We are paid by you, the client, and our only obligation is to you. If a finding would kill a deal, that's information you deserve — not something to be softened.
We inspect properties throughout Dallas-Fort Worth. If you're not sure whether we cover your area, give us a call — we rarely say no.
Including: Dallas, Fort Worth, Plano, Frisco, McKinney, Allen, Garland, Irving, Arlington, Denton, Lewisville, Richardson, Carrollton, Grand Prairie, Mesquite, and surrounding areas.
Most openings available within 2-3 business days. Same-week scheduling common for standard buyer's inspections.
