Iron Republic started with a simple idea: build a gym where the programming is as serious as the people who show up.

How It Started

Iron Republic was founded in 2019 by Jake Morrison and Sarah Blackwell, two competitive CrossFit athletes who were tired of training in gyms that treated programming as an afterthought.

They leased a 12,000 square foot warehouse in the Ironworks District, filled it with Rogue equipment, and opened the doors with one rule: every workout has a purpose.

What started as a small group of 30 members has grown into a community of over 300 athletes. From first-timers learning their first pull-up to regional competitors chasing podium finishes, Iron Republic is where people come to do real work.

Lifting Platforms

8 dedicated Olympic lifting platforms with competition bumper plates and Rogue barbells.

Rig & Pull-Up Bars

Full Rogue Monster rig with 20 stations. Enough room so you never have to wait.

Turf & Conditioning

50-foot turf track for sled pushes, sprints, and carries. Assault bikes, rowers, and ski ergs.

Rope & Climbing

20-foot climbing ropes, peg boards, and ring stations. Gymnastics-ready space with crash mats.

Specialty Equipment

Strongman stones, yokes, sandbags, wall balls, kettlebells from 8kg to 48kg. We don't cut corners.

Locker Rooms

Full locker rooms with showers, changing areas, and secure storage. Show up early, leave ready for work.

Community

In-House Competitions

Quarterly throwdowns that test everything. Scaled and Rx divisions so everyone can compete. Bragging rights included.

Charity WODs

We partner with local nonprofits for fundraising workouts throughout the year. Sweat for a cause. Last year we raised over $15,000.

Social Events

Monthly BBQs, holiday parties, and post-competition celebrations. We work hard and we hang out harder.

Competition Teams

We field teams for local and regional competitions year-round. Train together, compete together, win together.
