Our Story

Started With a Pickup Truck and a Handshake

In 1999, Mike Summit left his superintendent position at a large construction firm and went out on his own. Armed with a beat-up Ford F-250, a set of tools, and a reputation for doing honest work, he started taking on small residential jobs around town.

Word spread. Mike showed up on time, delivered quality work, and charged a fair price. One job led to two, two led to ten. By 2005, Summit Build had a proper crew. By 2010, we were handling commercial projects. Today, we're a 40-person team with a fleet of trucks and a shop on Industrial Parkway.

The trucks are nicer now, but the handshake still means the same thing.

Founder & President

25+ years in construction. Still walks every job site, still answers his phone. Believes you build trust the same way you build a house: one solid step at a time.

Lisa Chen

VP of Operations

Keeps the gears turning. Lisa manages scheduling, procurement, and client communications. 15 years in construction management with a degree in civil engineering.

Tom Reeves

Lead Superintendent

20 years on job sites. Tom runs our field operations and manages our crew leads. Known for keeping projects on schedule and keeping quality standards high.

Maria Gonzalez

Project Manager

Detail-oriented and relentless about timelines. Maria handles project coordination from permits to punch lists. Clients love her because she keeps them informed.

State License #GC-29471. Fully licensed for residential and commercial construction in all counties.

Insurance Coverage

$2M general liability, workers' compensation, and builder's risk coverage on every project.

OSHA Certified

All crew members hold current OSHA 30-Hour certifications. Safety isn't optional on our sites.
