Prestige Garment Care was founded in 2001 by Robert and Elena Harwood with a straightforward idea: treat every garment as if it were irreplaceable. Robert, a third-generation tailor trained in Milan, and Elena, a textile chemist, combined their expertise to create something different.

They started with a 600-square-foot shop on Mason Street. Word spread quickly. Customers noticed that their clothes came back not just clean, but noticeably better. Stains other cleaners had given up on were gone. Suits hung differently. Shirts felt crisper without being stiff.

Twenty-five years later, Prestige serves over 3,000 families across Fairfield County. The shop has grown, the equipment has advanced, but the founding principle remains the same: every garment deserves individual attention.
