BassLine Entertainment started as one kid with two turntables and a speaker in his parents' garage. Today we're the most booked DJ crew in Austin. The obsession with music never changed.
I started spinning at 16 years old in my friend's basement in South Austin. I was mixing hip-hop and R&B on a pair of borrowed Technics 1200s. I got my first real paid gig at 19 — a college house party. $100. I thought I'd made it.
By 25, I was touring as a support DJ for touring acts, playing festival stages in three states. I learned more in two years of touring than I could have in a decade of playing bars. How crowds move. How energy builds. When to drop and when to hold back.
I came back to Austin in 2015 and built BassLine from the ground up. Started with weddings and private parties. Grew into corporate work, club residencies, and festival headlining slots. Today we have a team of three DJs and we turn down more gigs than we take, because we refuse to be mediocre.

We do a planning call before every event. We ask about your crowd, your vibe, your must-plays, and your absolute no-gos. We show up knowing your event before we walk in the door.
No two events feel the same, even when you play the same songs. We adapt in real time. If the floor is lagging, we adjust. If the energy spikes, we ride it. That's a live set.
