Our Story

From One Bay to a Full-Service Shop

Gary Voss started ProFinish Collision Center in 2003 with a two-bay shop, one employee, and a belief that St. Louis deserved a collision repair shop that treated every car like their own. He'd spent twelve years working at a dealership body shop and watched too many repairs leave through the door without being done right.

The shop grew steadily through referrals. By 2008, ProFinish had expanded to a 12,000-square-foot facility with eight repair bays, a dedicated paint booth, and a frame straightening system. In 2011, they earned I-CAR Gold Class certification. In 2016, they became a State Farm Select Service shop. Today, ProFinish handles over 600 vehicles per year and has won the St. Louis Post-Dispatch's Best Auto Body Shop award three consecutive times.

Gary still walks the shop floor every day and signs off on every finished repair personally. The philosophy hasn't changed: do the job right and stand behind it.

Sandra is our color matching specialist with 11 years of refinishing experience. She's trained in spectrophotometer color measurement and has perfected blending techniques for tri-coat and matte finishes on modern luxury vehicles.

Computer-measured frame and unibody correction system. Laser-precise measurements compared against factory specifications for every vehicle make and model.

Spectrophotometers at every stage of the refinishing process — from initial color capture to blending verification and final approval.
