ABOUT ZADIE

I’m Paul Zadie, and  I am a freelance motion picture artist. I have always been an artist in one form or another. I began drawing and painting at a young age and eventually progressed into digital media. When I first started working with computers, it was to dig into graphic design, which led to web design, then I found animation then 3D graphics, and then on to what I do now. Film and video post-production.

I have a great sense of timing, rhythm, and narrative structure. As well as an eye for color, composition, and design aesthetics. I know how to tell a story and deliver a message, and I know what looks good.

When I’m not in an edit bay or at a graphics workstation I spend some time playing with cameras. My long time love of photography naturally drew me to cinematography. I have an addiction for learning and exploring the various arts and crafts of production. I believe that having a solid knowledge of all of the creative options available to a project makes me a better visual storyteller.
